Hurley Juniors Feather Weight Dress

This really is a one size fits all item. I have 5'3 and 155lbs so I am a curvy lady! This dress hides all that and makes me feel super cute in the warm weather. They are a little short which my boyfriend dislikes but I just slap some tiny shorts underneath in case there is some wind lol and we are on our way. They look so cute with flip flops but you can also wear them with some cute dress shoes and a shawl. Its very versatile! I would say curvy or not this will fit. I let my friend who is 5'3 and 120lbs borrow this dress and it looks so cute on her too. I'd say it surely is one size fits all if we BOTH look good in it :) One this is if you have small breasts it will make it look smaller. I have larger boobs and it makes them look small. This is not something I am worried about but some may be. Also you NEED a bra. I'd say a strapless but up to you! Without it, everything will show. Also a nice thing, at the beach this can go right over your bathing suit, untie it and slip it down and you are ready for the water. So honestly I love it! So many uses! Wonderful for the price and it is a nice fabric, not itchy like most.

I had been looking for a simple, black-tie dress watch for months but was stymied by the over-abundance of huge, flashy wrist 'clocks' that seems to be the new hip-hop fashion. Really - some of these have become as vulgar as an oversized pair of clown's shoes. On an average man's wrist, in my honest opinion, most any watch over about 3.5mm in diameter starts to look overwhelming - add a few buttons and a scattering of useless subdials and it's way beyond what a classic dress watch should be. Enter the Hamilton Lloyd - a retro-look dress watch that really stands out from the "wannabes". Clean and classic lines without even the complication of a date window - this is what I'd been looking for - elegant in it's simplicity. It doesn't overwhelm the wrist and it slips neatly under a dress shirt sleeve without hanging up. Be aware that this is sometimes labelled as a "mid-sized" or "unisex" watch..... there's is a larger "Men's" version available at some vendors - but this, too, is probably a bit too big for an average man's wrist.

I wanted to throw in a word for Ashford - from whom I bought the watch. The price was outstanding and the shipping was free and expeditious. But - the best was yet to come..... opening the shipping box and you'll swear it came from Rodeo Drive or the "Miracle Mile"..... Plenty of nice bubble wrap and the watch box was carefully swaddled in Ashford-logo tissue. They include a small tote bag and a cleaning cloth. I felt pampered - certainly not the typical Amazon experience.

So - if you want a simple, but classy, dress watch..... look no further than the Hamilton Lloyd.... and get it from Ashford if you can. Excellent!

Ruby Rox Kids Soutache Illusion

This book had so many great surprises. I loved that Barbie was not what I expected her to be. Barbie's little brother pulled at my heart strings instantly and their home situation was terrible. I really liked that it showed Dylan in his world and Barbie in hers. The Author did a great job of keeping them true to their situations. Even when they were together their thought process reflected their personal life situation and completely different upbringing. They didn't instantly change to become just like each other. It shows how easily we can be trapped in our own bubble unable to see the reason behind someone else's decisions. Dylan and Barbie had some definite heat between them. I fell in love with Third. Barbie Girl was a great read and I am really looking forward to book two.
